If you want to be the best, buy the best. – RaceTech Titanium Fasteners
Back in 2005, I started working at Ultracomp Trailers. I sold custom trailers and worked with many of the biggest names in racing such as Don Schumacher, Joe Gibbs Racing, Factory Connection, Rockstar Suzuki, Ganassi, Suntrust, MDK, and more.
Every trailer was built around the specific needs of each team. Working so closely with these top-level race programs gave me a firsthand look at how they operated, what they valued, and where they were constantly searching for an edge. The more time I spent around these teams, the more I noticed a recurring issue. When it came to titanium hardware, getting exactly what they needed wasn’t easy.
Sure, teams could buy standard titanium bolts off the shelf. But if they needed something made to their exact specs, they were usually stuck modifying it in-house by hand, one piece at a time. It was time-consuming, inconsistent, and far from ideal for teams operating at that level.
That’s where I saw an opportunity.
I started working directly with top teams to develop titanium hardware that not only fit their applications but was machined exactly how they wanted it to drop weight as much as possible. Dished heads, holes for safety wire, gun-drilling, dimpled or drilled flanges, we did it all.
Before long, it became clear that this kind of hardware wasn’t just needed by factory teams and big-budget race programs. There were racers, builders, and enthusiasts everywhere who wanted access to the same level of quality and detail but had no easy way to get it.
We changed that.
We took that same style of custom titanium hardware and made it available to the public. What was once only accessible to top-tier race teams could now be ordered by everyday racers and enthusiasts who wanted the same level of performance, quality, and attention to detail.
Over the years, we’ve continued to push the limits of lightweight, durable titanium hardware and custom fabricated parts. We’ve expanded into even more markets, including Sport Bikes, ATVs, Sprint Cars, and more. Hardware and parts that were once nearly impossible for the average customer to get are now readily available for enthusiasts at every level.
That idea is still at the core of what we do today, bringing true race-proven titanium hardware to everyone.
